Walking, hiking, and climbing

Walks to suit everyone

With more than 3000km of marked paths, the Vaucluse offers endless opportunities for walkers. For example, our neighbouring village of Cairanne (8km) achieved the prestigious ‘crus’ status for its wines in February of this year. Starting from the village square, you can follow a 30 minute itinerary which will let you discover and recognise the major grape varieties of the Cairanne appellation – Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault. Alternatively, if history is more your passion, you  might like to starting at Vaison-la-Romaine (18km). You can follow a trail which takes you into the foothills of the Dentelles de Montmirail and combines an appreciation of Roman civilisation, with Voconce history and the Middle Ages.
